Renee is passionate about connecting and engaging within the digital landscape and seeks ways to add value to society. With extensive experience in project management, Renee has joined the team as Co-Curator, overseeing all aspects of the event with the TEDx Licensee.

Passionate about doing meaningful work, Kathleen believes in using her creative skills—music, graphic design and, more recently, writing—to enable positive change in the world around her. New to Townsville, she considers TEDx an opportunity to learn from and get involved in the community. Being a nonconformist who sees things differently and tells it like it is, she finds ways to challenge the status quo, and hopes to bring her unique perspective to TEDxTownsville. What she appreciates the most about TED is that it makes ideas accessible to everyone, irrespective of boundaries; it broadens the mind and brings the world closer together.
